Nice little cafe in Batu Pahat. The fried rice was good, coffee great (5 stars!) but the asam fish and chocolate cake were mediocre (3 stars)...price was good so that averages to 4 stars. Will defo come back again for the massive chicken chop which we didnt have this time around.

All is good. We have mini gathering for 17 people and its comfortable enough for us. Everyone is happy with food, scenery and the service. The portion and the taste is just nice, service is on time and the ambience is instagrammable inside out. If you’re 1ˢᵗ timer, try the chicken chop and you will come back!!

Great hospitality. Owner took time to give us few suggestions for kerepek place. We dropped by to ask for direction and they were very helpful. We ended up buying take away coffee and pastries. Delicious scones, coffee and milk chocolate crepes. The ambience was pleasant. Do drop by if you are in Batu Pahat.

A hidden gem with a chill, garden-inspired vibe. Think minimalist aesthetic meets lush greenery, super cozy and Instagrammable. Tiramisu Chocolate Cake: A rich chocolate cake base topped with tiramisu layers. The combo works so well, not overly sweet, just a slight tang from the cream cheese, and a nice kick of espresso from the ladyfingers and dusting on top. A treat for coffee and dessert lovers alike. Kampung Fried Rice + Popcorn Chicken: Flavour-packed fried rice with that classic kampung-style punch, spicy and savoury with crunchy ikan bilis and fishcakes adding texture. The popcorn chicken (5–6 pieces) is nicely fried and juicy inside. The batter’s a bit under-seasoned, but pairs well with the rice for a tasty combo. Spicy Soy Chicken (Ayam Kicap): Ordered this on the side just to try, presentation’s great, with a rich, dark sauce. Chicken came in a generous portion (cut into four), slightly tough but still okay. The sauce? Lightly spicy, peppery, but super SALTY, like the kind of salty that makes your taste buds do a double take. Chicken Chop Big portion! Comes with curly fries, a small salad, and a side of black pepper sauce (plus some chili sauce + mayo on the plate). Curly fries were crispy and not greasy. The chicken chop itself was nicely balanced, crisp outside, tender inside. The coating lacked a bit of seasoning, but the sauce saved the day. Heads up: If you’re coming during lunch hour, expect slower service, it gets quite busy. Some tables are usually pre-reserved too, so either come early, pick an off-peak time, or make a reservation to avoid waiting. Perfect spot to chill, take pretty photos, and enjoy solid comfort food in a leafy, relaxing setting. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into nature vibes and good portions!
